Pune : In a significant turn of events with far-reaching implications for the Nyati Grandeur Co-operative Housing Society, the Deputy Registrar at the Market Yard office in Pune has issued a directive that unequivocally mandates a ban on Mr. Vinayak Kelkar and Mr. Rajib Basu. Both individuals serve as members of the society's Management Committee and have been actively involved in key Conveyance Deed matters. The directive, rooted in the principles of Bylaw 119 of the MCS Act 1960, centers on the paramount Conveyance Deed process, which involves multi-million rupee FSI/TDR negotiations.

The conflict of interest at the core of this directive is tied to Mr. Kelkar's previous association with Nyati Builders, a pivotal player in the Conveyance Deed process. On the other hand, Mr. Basu's case is equally noteworthy, as he has openly admitted to a 5 CR transaction related to the builder. In response to these revelations, the Deputy Registrar's office has taken a resolute stance by implementing a directive that leaves no room for ambiguity. It clearly stipulates that both Mr. Vinayak Kelkar and Mr. Rajib Basu must refrain from participating in any discussions or negotiations related to the Conveyance Deed. This prohibition encompasses all settings—be it within the society's internal meetings or external negotiations with Nyati Builders.

The responsibility of ensuring strict adherence to this directive falls squarely upon the Chairman and Secretary of the Nyati Grandeur Co-operative Housing Society. The gravity of the directive is underscored by the fact that compliance is deemed non-negotiable, serving as an imperative step to uphold the integrity and fairness of the society's affairs.

Furthermore, another directive from the Deputy Registrar addresses the recent alteration of the society's land layout, which was executed without prior General Body approval. This order reaffirms the society's unwavering commitment to transparency, legality, and the preservation of a just and equitable decision-making process.

It is of paramount importance to recognize that Mr. Shekhar Dhotre, an elected whistleblower on the management committee, filed the initial complaints against these members. Mr. Dhotre followed up on these complaints by leveraging the Right to Information (RTI) Act. He has been at the forefront of these efforts to ensure transparency and accountability within the society.

Additionally, attempts have been made in the past to silence Mr. Dhotre. These attempts included the filing of fake and spurious FIRs and police complaints in an effort to tarnish his image and credibility. However, this has not deterred Mr. Dhotre, who has persisted in his mission to bring the truth to light.

It is vital to note that the complaints against these members encompass their conflict of interest, non-disclosure of critical information related to the MOFA case, and efforts to prevent audio and video recordings during meetings mandated by the Government of Maharashtra. In light of their intransigence, Mr. Dhotre has chosen to pursue a legal course to ensure justice prevails and that the society is returned to a state of fair and transparent governance.

These actions by Mr. Kelkar and Mr. Rajib Basu unequivocally demonstrate a blatant disregard for the law and the principles that underpin a just and equitable society. In response to these circumstances, Mr. Shekhar Dhotre remains steadfast in his pursuit of justice, unwavering in his commitment to bringing about positive change within the society.
